Taking photos over several days allowed me to capture a clump of daffodils blooming. Discovered the mini daffodils really are mini daffodils (paperwhites). Almost edited the photos to look the same. What Did Not Go Well Natural lighting not consistent day to day. Possibly due to taking pictures at different times, but also due to cloud coverage. Was not willing to lay on ground to get the best angles of some flowers. Overall Thoughts I need to learn to use my camera better. And learn how to take better photos in general. As well as learn to edit them better. However, I do feel I'm improving with each attempt, so that's good. I did take some photos of the weeping cherry tree to use later when that is in bloom to show a before & after.  Moving Forward I...

Early Spring Flowers Reason for project: Would like to practice more with the camera and also take pictures of flowers that are starting to bloom. Budget: $0 Tools needed: Camera, Computer, GIMP Timeline: 5 days, post due March 25th Deliverable: Undetermined number of images of flowers posted on the blog with a short writeup.  Potential Issues Weather--it may rain all week. Fall into a yak-shaving situation: I know I do need to do a bit of yard work first, but unsure how much. There were plenty of good places to take screenshots. Drawing Grumbles and making him blend into the environment. What Did Not Go Well Possibly spent too much time playing Valheim. Didn't feel like drawing most days due to not feeling well. Some environments in Valheim were too dark to add Grumbles to. Some of the camera angles were also not great and couldn't be adjusted. Overall Thoughts I will likely make a similar post (non-birthday themed) to include Grumbles in more interesting situations sometime in the future. I really should draw more often in general. Moving Forward Still planning to have shorter on-week projects for now. It's a bit of a struggle making myself focus on these, but so far it's going okay.

Blog post will be minimal. It will be a short story to go along with the images. Easily found tablecloth to use as background. Posing Amadeus went well. Photo editing went pretty okay. Managed to post on Thursday, as planned. What Did Not Go Well Did not buy batteries.  Not enough lighting; photo quality a bit low. Possibly could have taken better photos if I knew how to use the camera better. Still a bit confused about color profiles in GIMP. Overall Thoughts Photoshoot went pretty well. Was able to post three photos with a short write up as planned. Will need a follow-up photoshoot once batteries are acquired. Would like a better format for writing up the project plan. I'll need to consider a template or something to use.
